Very happy to replace my old top skin with this top, great value, fit and instructions – warm it up before first install as noted in the instructions

Installation and fitment was a breeze for this. The hardest part was definitely installing the door skins. I had to work very hard to get those to fit on the frames. They still haven’t seated properly, but they work enough. The biggest issue is the top wasn’t even close to waterproof. The package it came in was dated to 2021 so I’m sure whatever waterproofing agent they use was long gone. I’ve since treated the top with 303 to help resolve this issue, but it’s not ideal that I had to come up with a solution. I almost sent the top back, but the only other option for sailcloth was $300-$400 more and I probably would’ve had the same problem had I gotten a replacement from Sierra. Just be aware that when buying this top that it may not be waterproof anymore.

, bought this top on December 26 2020, kept putting it off to install, finally installed it on 10/9/2022, typical issues installing but now comes the crises one of the zipper slide was missing on right rear window , tried to use old side from original window it will not work , searched Amazon when purchased , no help from Amazon customer service [ I expected that after this much time ] tried to contact sierra outdoors on Sunday left message , they returned call on Monday started to grill me on when I purchased it and then tranfered to another department which they hung up the phone , I can’t be the only one ever to request one , I would even purchase one , so in my opinion customer services sucks obviously tring to get zipper slide to fit there product needs a congressional approval well from now on I’ll give my opinion to all jeep enthusiasts what not to buy and see if anyone has one that they saved,well small zip ties are my options to secure there garbage product , well to all you at gahn company no repeat business from me now on

It leaks in the seam above interior light. They will not respond to my messages. Do not buy

This is my 3rd top on my 93 YJ jeep (I’m original owner). My second was a best top and was about 300$ at the time as purchased. They have gone up so much that I thought I’d give this brand a try. I purchased the full top with door skins since my windows plastic had finally cracked. I never use the back windows or back gate window. Living in So. CA I leave it open even in rain. This top was fairly easy putting on till the back corner. I needed help holding the one end of the grip down while pulling the final edge and slipping it in the channel. The only problem was each side of the corners near the gate continued to slip out of the channel. I fixed it by using a rubber washer folded (you can purchase thick smaller ones in plumbing) and I wedged it inside the channel to keep the tops plastic edge secure. It worked! Now it’s a snug fit. I did use a rounded knife sharpener tool to help put the final steel rod in the door skin. Those things are tight!!!! Took me many tries and leaving the skins out in 80 degree full sun for a couple hours. I’m happy with the top and I chose to purchase the 3 yr warranty for 39$ Should it rip or fail I have no problem with a 13$ a yr investment for a warranty. I included a picture of the corner with the rubber washer so you can see what I’m talking about. Quality of sailcloth and fit is great!

I’ve had this top on for several months now, and I must say it has held up very well. The windows are tinted and you can see through nicely, they’re easy to clean, and it doest rattle and make a ton of noise like other tops I’ve purchased in the past. The main top is very very easy to install, the half door window skins were another story, as with any of these tops lol, but I will say they weren’t as bad as some other brands I have had, just take your time and work in the top corners befor anything else, and the way the bottom secures to the front window frames is very enjoyable compared to some of the other tops I’ve really had to fight with lol. Laying the pieces out in the warm sun, or a warm garage will really help the install go more smoothly. Will certainly be back to these guys for other projects in the future, and I highly recommend for anyone looking for their next top. Don’t be afraid of the price, the quality is excellent. Great zippers and great look, fits together very nicely, and eliminates a lot of the zipper and frame rattling noises we get from the yj.

I put the top on and only had to have help putting thelaat corner of the door window skin. Make sure you get the skins nice and warm and I recommend putting in the side and back skins before installing!
