I got the thing on by myself in about an hour in the cold, but unless you lift weights or are a part of the Marvel universe I would not recommend this approach.With another human to assist it would have been much easier, but I did not have the luxury that day.The sailcloth material is very close to the factory top I removed from my 2003 TJ.The windows are thinner and a bit “wavier”, but they are easy to see through and weather-tight; at this price point, I’m not going to feel a way about it.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.It fits extremely well, looks great, and is weathertight.
[...]The zipper on the back window will not zip at the corner. Side windows will not zip because the fit is not right. Not worth buying.
[...]Fitting it wasn’t nearly as cut and dry as the company wants you to think. We struggled with it and eventually caved and threw a rain cover over the jeep and let it sit there. I want to be able to drive it in the winter, so we ended up paying our service mechanic to install it for us. Several hours and several hundred dollars later, he finally got it on. If you don’t have multiple people to help you stretch it while others pull it onto the frame, it’s appears impossible. I haven’t attempted to take it down and put it back up on my own yet, but hopefully it’s as easy as the old one was. It’s an affordable product, and it looks super nice, but paying more to have it installed than the cost of the top is insane.
